St. Lawrence University

Founded on April 3, 1856, St. Lawrence University is oldest continuously coeducational institution of higher learning in New York State. St. Lawrence University is named for the St. Lawrence River, which is about 15 miles from campus and offers its students and faculty a wonderful research facility, and is the site of their crew team practices and competitions. The St. Lawrence River forms the border with Canada, and the institution’s Canadian Studies program has been one of the best of its kind in the United States.

St. Lawrence University approached mapformation in the Fall of 2012 to discuss the development of new 2D vector and 3D vector maps for the institution. After a brief series of conversations, our firm was hired to develop both illustrations for the institution. Finished artwork was delivered in February 2013.
