Minnesota Counties Map

Rural Resource Recovery

Rural Resource Recovery is a now-defunct non-profit organization that had been formed in hopes of working in rural Minnesota to salvage old building materials from small-town communities and farms. The goal was to prevent the decay or discarding of usable and/or recyclable building materials. However, the fledgling organization found that insurance and transportation costs were too prohibitive to running a break-even operation.

mapformation worked with Rural Resource Recovery to develop a pro-bono map of Minnesota counties in support of RRR’s efforts to prepare a business plan and solicit grants and donations. Finished artwork was delivered in the Spring of 2003.
