International School of Boston – Lycée International de Boston 3D Perspective Campus Map

International School of Boston – Lycée International de Boston

Founded in 1962, the International School of Boston has grown from a Jardin d’Enfants with one teacher and three children in a Belmont basement into a flourishing learning environment with two campuses and more than 600 students from dozens of countries. An important milestone in the school’s history occurred in 1983, when it established itself in the historic Parmenter School building in Arlington, Massachusetts, which still houses ISB’s Maternelle division. In 1997, after making the decision to open a Middle School, ISB opened the doors of its Cambridge, Massachusetts campus. The International School of Boston began its Upper School in 1999. The first graduating class to earn their French Baccalaureate was in 2001. The school also added the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB), graduating its first IB class in 2006. That same year, the school received full accreditation by the French authorities for its entire curriculum, from Pre-School through Grade 12. Shortly thereafter, capping years of growth and success, the school adopted the International School of Boston name.

The International School of Boston became a client of mapformation in September 2014, after another client of ours recommended that they work with us on the creation of a new map illustration highlighting their campus locations in the Greater Boston area. Finished artwork will be provided to ISB in the Fall of 2014.
