Grand Valley State University

Grand Valley State University was chartered by the Michigan legislature in 1960 in response to the need for a public, four-year college in the state’s second largest metropolitan region. Allendale, Michigan, is home to Grand Valley’s main campus, situated on 1,322 acres 12 miles west of Grand Rapids. The 68-acre Robert C. Pew Campus in the heart of Grand Rapids is comprised of two separate sites with a total of 12 buildings. Classes are also offered in the Meijer Campus in Holland, and at the institution’s regional locations in Muskegon and Traverse City.

Grand Valley State University became a client of mapformation in February 2015, after several weeks of periodic discussions with our partner, nuCloud, concerning the development of two new campus maps and interactive mapping solutions for the institution. Finished artwork will be provided to GVSU in the Spring of 2015.
