George Fox University

George Fox University is a Christian university of the arts, sciences, and professional studies ranked by U.S. News and World Report as a top-tier western regional university. The university was founded in Newberg in 1891 by Quaker pioneers. Now, more than 3,000 students attend classes on the university’s campus in Newberg, at its Portland, Salem, and Boise centers, and at other teaching sites in Oregon.

Staff at George Fox University approached mapformation in the Spring of 2006, inquiring about our 2D and 3D perspective campus mapping services. After several weeks of discussion, George Fox University decided to hire mapformation to develop new 2D and 3D perspective vector maps of its campus, as well as a 3D rendering of what its campus might look like in the future if roughly 21 buildings are constructed on the campus over the next 15-20 years. Finished artwork was delivered in October 2006.
