Bucks County Community College

Bucks County Community College was founded in 1964 in response to a need for a public two-year collegiate institution to serve graduates of this Pennsylvania County’s high schools and other citizens of Bucks County who would benefit from an experience in higher education. The site for the College was determined three months later, when Bucks County acquired, from Temple University, 200 acres of the former Tyler Estate in Newtown Township. The Estate had been bequeathed to the University two years earlier by Mrs. Stella Elkins Tyler, a sculptress and patron of the arts who was a trustee of Temple University for 20 years.

Staff at Bucks County Community College contacted mapformation in the Fall of 2005 expressing a general interest in our firm’s services after initially meeting at a NCMPR (National Council for Marketing and Public Relations) conference in the Spring of 2005. Within a few weeks, Bucks had hired our firm to develop new 2D and 3D perspective campus maps. Finished artwork was delivered in August 2006.
