Bancroft Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Map in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Bancroft Neighborhood Association

The Bancroft Neighborhood Association was formed in 1991, at a meeting of 75 residents, primarily to develop the neighborhood’s plans for City of Minneapolis (Minnesota) Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) funds. Once the neighborhood was selected by the NRP program for funding, bylaws were adopted and community council of 15 persons was elected in 1992.

mapformation donated its services to the Bancroft Neighborhood Association in the spring and summer of 2001, developing a parcel-by-parcel land use map of the neighborhood’s area. The finished image was used in a number of planning documents, and even found its way on to a t-shirt! It was a very rewarding project, and we were glad to have the opportunity to support this wonderful organization in its efforts to enhance its community.
