I want a map like this

This one will always be special to me personally…as David Hale (a “stage” name, as he was a weatherman in Ohio in a former professional life) told me that mapformation was going to be hired to complete this illustration, but that we could not officially be hired until the University President had the chance to shake my hand and make sure I was “good people.”

I told David that we’d need to add travel expenses to the project, which he said was A-OK. So I hopped on a plane, rented a car, and shook their President’s hand. 🙂 It was fun to be able to walk the campus, since for most of our projects, we do all of our work remotely. I love those handshakes too…though unless it’s at a conference or some other type of professional gathering, it usually isn’t efficient or practical from a cost perspective.
