Who owns the copyright to the artwork that is developed?
We assume that our prospective clients own all of the imagery that they would be asking us to Zoomify going into a project, and copyright/ownership issues of any photographs and artwork would not be impacted in any way as a result of our working to implement Zoomify magnification techniques. If a prospective client did not own the images they were asking us to Zoomify prior to asking us to perform the magnification techniques, then we should not have been asked to complete the project from the very beginning, and we assume no liability as a result of a client misleading us on the issue of copyright ownership as a result of this process.
