Zoomify
Our firm utilizes a technology called "Zoomify" in a majority of our portfolio samples on this web site. Essentially, Zoomify takes very large images (thousands of pixels-wide or megabytes in size) and displays them in smaller Flash player window dimensions of our choice. It then includes a set of controls that allows visitors to zoom in/out or pan left/right/up/down...resetting the player to its initial view at any time. We utilize this technology for our own purposes, but are also periodically asked to "Zoomify" map and photographs for other organizations as well. Zoomify EZ is available for free download on the
Zoomify web site, allowing anyone to create and insert Zoomify graphics on their own web site. However, if you would prefer having someone complete this process for you, we would only bill you for our time invested in the project.
