mapformation designer Michael Karpovage, a resident of the Finger Lakes region of New York, recently took it upon himself to volunteer time to develop a map of the Seneca Army Depot. Finished artwork was delivered in March 2008.

The formed Seneca Depot Conservation Alliance (SDCA) in Seneca County, New York, has emerged in the Finger Lake landscape to provide a very strong alliance of organizations who believe the former Seneca Army Depot should be protected for conservation purposes, as it currently serves as the home for the world’s largest herd of white, whitetail deer, along with several osprey nests, hundreds of turkeys, beavers, many migrating and resident birds as well as the white and brown whitetail deer.
