John contacted mapformation in the Winter of 2008-2009 to discuss an interactive, Flash-based mapping tool that he had developed, to see if our firm's clients might be interested in using the tool to help their constituents to navigate their campuses within web sites and handheld applications. mapformation CEO Derek Tonn was so impressed with the technology that he asked John to consider joining our team. As an independent professional since 1989, John has worked on a wide variety of projects with an emphasis on content development. He began to focus on maps and Flash in the late 1990s and has since made these areas his primary focus. Previously John worked in the financial services industry as management consultant with KPMG Peat Marwick and a client service manager with SEI Corporation.
