His primary focus, as a freelance graphic artist, has been split between his interest in print design and new interactive/media development. As an artist, educator and designer David has warn many 'hats' in the last decade, but now that he is with mapformation, LLC he spends most of his time working to develop campus maps, city/area maps and interior diagrams for mapformation's various institutional clients.Personal Profile:
David currently resides in Woodbury, Minnesota, and runs eckspo design while also working as an “independent contractor” for mapformation, LLC. He has never seen himself as a ”sports nut”, but has a love for a good game of broomball as well as downhill and cross-country skiing. Nature is very important to him as he feels that learning to appreciate the 'outdoors' is a vital part of being a quality painter. Within the last several years he has developed a deeper appreciation of deep woods backpacking and high mountain camping.
