Tom began his part-time employment with mapformation, LLC in June 2002. His primary focus is the development of campus maps and building interior diagrams, although he provides assistance with a variety of other projects as well.
Personal Profile:
Tom lives in Rochester, Minnesota. He is currently a Graphic Designer in the Department of Development at Mayo Clinic. Tom also runs Pankratz Design, a freelance graphic design firm founded in 1998 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in which he has created print and multimedia projects for clients in Nebraska, Colorado and Minnesota.
Tom loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, along with family and friends. He enjoys traveling and watching or playing almost any sport, with basketball and golf at the top of the list. Tom is also fond of anything Scandinavian-related, as he was born in the country of Sweden and lived there until the age of fourteen. If you just happen to speak Swedish, he'd love to carry on a conversation some time. On the side, Tom has developed a liking for meteorology, mainly attributed to his teenage years living on a farm in northern Minnesota.
