Westchester Community College - Valhalla, New York (USA)
Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains, New York. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. The institution currently enrolls approximately 12,000 full- and part-time college credit students.
Westchester Community College became a client of mapformation in August of 2010, after several weeks of discussing potential map design projects. Finished 2D perspective campus map artwork was delivered in October 2010.
