The City of Springfield, Minnesota is located along Highway 14, the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Highway. This southern Minnesota location is in the middle of some of the state's most productive farmland. Many of the businesses in Springfield serve the agricultural community. Historic Main street also has a full compliment of retail shops to serve every need. Springfield's population is around 2,200.
City staff in Springfield asked mapformation to develop a map of the area walking/biking trails for a signage installation, as well as handouts for tourism packets. Finished maps were delivered in February 2006.
